Matt has over 9 years of technology commercialization and startup experience through his time with the University of Michigan’s Office of Technology Transfer where he was directly involved with the formation activities of over 20 startup companies. Prior to working at the University, Matt spent over 10 years in the Agriculture industry working for several production Ag supply companies.

Allan is passionate about helping entrepreneurs commercialize transformative technologies that will improve agriculture, human health and the environment. He is currently the director of entrepreneurship and sustainability at Memphis Bioworks Foundation. Allan previously worked as an economic development consultant and managed a business incubator program in St Vincent & the Grenadines, which was funded by European Union.

Johnny is a farmer who has shown leadership throughout his career in supporting ways to improve agriculture through innovation. He is a director of United Soybean Board and former president and chairman of the American Soybean Association (ASA).

AndyJordanAndy Jordan, Ph.D.
Dr. Jordan is an agricultural engineer, well known in the agriculture industry in the Southern United States. Among other accomplishments, he was the Vice President of Technical Services for National Cotton Council, a major commodity organization where he drove cotton research priorities related to agronomics, biotechnology, and machinery.

Arielle Moinester
Arielle is an international agricultural development professional and entrepreneur and is a Regional Technical Advisor in Agroenterprise and Small Enterprise Development for Catholic Relief Services’ Europe, Middle East and Central Asia Region. She specializes in design and implementation of projects that spearhead innovative intersections between public and private sector strategies for economic growth and sustainable agricultural livelihood development.

MirelesFrancoise Françoise Mireles
Françoise has a strong background in microbiology, food safety, biotech and crop protection. She has been involved in ag-biotech companies dealing with biologics especially Bacillus thuringiensis. The scope of her work covered laboratory research, field trials and biopesticide market assessments. She holds a Master’s Degree in Microbiology applied to the agriculture/food industry and a Post Graduate Degree in Plant Protection.

Matt Ramage has a broad interest and expertise in a variety of topics related to new technology in agriculture. Trained as an agronomist, he has worked as a research scientist at Syngenta, development team member for an agricultural software startup, a sales director at Trimble Navigation/Cengea Solutions, and is now working with Agri-Trend in support of John Deere dealerships in the US.

rvierlingRick Vierling, Ph.D.
Dr. Vierling is the director of research and new uses at the National Corn Grower Association. Prior to joining NCGA, Vierling worked as director of the Indiana Crop Improvement Association’s Genetics Program at Purdue University and was also an agronomy professor at Purdue. Vierling is the developer of several patented technologies for plant disease and pest resistance that have been licensed to industry.
